My wife (of over 30 years!)and I saw John in Santa Cruz, California just this past summer. The first set was great, the second set was magnificent! Loved the Babys, love Bad English, love his solo stuff. I had tears in my eyes when he did "Isn't It Time"! Good show John, please come back to Cali!
Saw the Babys open for Journey in 1978 at the Forum in Los Angeles. JW came flying out on stage on his knees with guirar in hand singing "Head First". That moment changed my life forever. I was 13 yrs old and completely in awe. Have seen Bad English twice and John Waite over the years. Recently saw the show with full band last July 2006 in Cerritos, California. It was so great, it made me cry. Brought back so many great music memories. I was only dissapointed that the concert did not go on for longer. Saw the acoustic show in January 2007 at the Coach House in San Juan Capistrano, California. What a TREAT that was! AMAZING HE IS. WOW...what a great show. I could watch a John Waite concert every month for the rest of my life and be sooooo happy. Still has an amazing powerful voice and writes the most beautiful and yet the sexiest lyrics hands down. Love the new CD. Love it all. Still pull out the old Baby's stuff ALL THE TIME. John Waite is an incredible talent and has been such a great influence on my musical mind, heart, and soul. Thank you for all the great music over the years....don't ever stop. MORE tour dates pretty please. I'll go to every one. Of course, gonna watch JW on Jay Leno tonite. I'll be singing along to every brilliant word... Michelle
